End of January 2025, experts from Fire Services as well as Humanitarian and Social Services discussed needs and settings for (Emergency) Shelters, camps and Bases of Operations from multiple perspective – especially low-emission power supplies. The workshop for this Austrian perspective was hosted on behalf of POWERBASE at Austrian Red Cross headquarters in Vienna.
Similar basic needs and respected humanitarian standards from different background (e.g. technical, social, logistics, humanitarian) and target group (e.g. operational staff, beneficiaries) perspectives lead to wishful thinking of future power supplies enabling lower emissions and better operations.
