We are excited to announce the launch of the POWERBASE project.
POWERBASE is a new Horizon Europe project that aims to provide the foundation for future procurement of low-emission energy solutions by emergency response organizations.
This will ensure that emergency response organizations are equipped with highly innovative low-emission energy solutions for Emergency shelters and Bases of operations that meet their real operational needs (reliable, self-sufficient, mobile, economical, improved workplace conditions, etc.), in the decades to come.
The project, which started on 01.10.2024 and will last one year, is coordinated by Federal Agency for Technical Relief, and a collaboration with major European Emergency Response organisations and leading research institutes. Specifically, partners include Österreichisches Rotes Kreuz, MSB (Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency), Ministère de l’Intérieur, Ministero dell’Interno, Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, ASOCIACIA SAMARITANOV SLOVENSKEJ REPUBLIKY (ASSR), Gezamenlijke Brandweer, Fraunhofer INT, Center for Security Studies (KEMEA), VIEIRA, COSTA GOMES – SOCIEDADE DE ADVOGADOS, RL and ARTTIC Innovation.
