We are excited to announce the launch of the POWERBASE project.

POWERBASE is a new Horizon Europe project that aims to provide the foundation for future procurement of low-emission energy solutions by emergency response organizations.

This will ensure that emergency response organizations are equipped with highly innovative low-emission energy solutions for Emergency shelters and Bases of operations that meet their real operational needs (reliable, self-sufficient, mobile, economical, improved workplace conditions, etc.), in the decades to come.

The project, which started on 01.10.2024 and will last one year, is coordinated by Federal Agency for Technical Relief, and a collaboration with major European Emergency Response organisations and leading research institutes. Specifically, partners include Ɩsterreichisches Rotes Kreuz, MSB (Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency), MinistĆØre de l’IntĆ©rieur, Ministero dell’Interno, Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, ASOCIACIA SAMARITANOV SLOVENSKEJ REPUBLIKY (ASSR), Gezamenlijke Brandweer, Fraunhofer INT, Center for Security Studies (KEMEA), VIEIRA, COSTA GOMES – SOCIEDADE DE ADVOGADOS, RL and ARTTIC Innovation.
