On January 31st, Vieira Procurement and Legal Services invited Portuguese emergency response organisations to discuss their functional and operational needs for mobile, low-emission power solutions for Bases of Operation and Emergency Shelters.
The workshop was attended by:
- Emergency Civil Protection National Authority
- Lisbon Central Fire Regiment
- Lisbon Municipality Civil Protection
- Portuguese Red Cross
With extensive experience in international catastrophe response, these organisations provided critical insights into energy requirements in emergency scenarios, particularly in response to wildfires, floods, and earthquakes. Understanding these needs is essential for future procurement of renewable energy solutions.
