On January 28th, the French ministery of Interior invited emergency response organisations across France to discuss their functional and operational needs for mobile, low-emission power solutions for emergency response operations.
The workshop brought together 15 participants from emergency response organisations across France. Some attendees joined the discussion on-site, while others participated online.
Participants shared first-hand insights from major disaster response efforts, including:
- Earthquakes in Haiti and Turkey
- Cyclone Mayotte
These real-world experiences provided valuable input for defining common energy requirements for Bases of Operation and Emergency Shelters in the context of wildfires, floods, and earthquakes.
Thank you to all participants for your meaningful contributions to the needs identification for our project!
