On October 15-16, 2024, POWERBASE first workshop on Scenario Definition took place, led by Jakub Liščinský, MBA (ASSR), and Imre Szabján (HCSOM).
The workshop focused on needs requirements of emergency response operations in three scenarios:
- A wildfire on a Mediterranean island under hot climactic conditions
- An earthquake in the Himalayan region
- Flooding in winter in central/eastern Europe with a large number of displaced people
During the workshop, scenarios were further refined, and the layout of potential bases of operations and emergency shelters were discussed.
