POWERBASE will allow Emergency Responders to employ mobile, low-emission energy supplies that will improve safety, improve air quality, reduce sounds and vibrations, thus enhancing working conditions.
In future PCP, innovation suppliers will receive financial support in product development and profit form a shortened time-to-market. In the final PPI, the public sector will form a critical mass of buyers that allows industry to scale up production.
By providing low-emission power supplies, POWERBASE will help to facilitate the green transition. The public sector and society at large will profit from lower greenhouse gas emissions.

POWERBASE will organise workshops on needs assessment in 10 European countries that are accessible to emergency response organisations and other end users.
Furthermore, POWERBASE will organise training of end users on procurement workshops, and build a community of potential buyers/public procurers for future uptake and use.

An Open Market Consultation (OMC) event will take place in June 2025 in Brussels, and organisations that register as supplier will receive first hand information.
