The POWERBASE project participated in the ā€œSustainable Connections: Erasmus+ VET Eco Seminarā€, held from 16–18 June 2025 in Warsaw, Poland. This inspiring event brought together professionals and practitioners from across Europe to explore sustainable innovations and practical pathways toward a climate-resilient future.

During the seminar, the POWERBASE team introduced its approach to identify mobile, low-emission energy solutions for emergency bases and temporary shelters. It was discussed how POWERBASE can contribute to the urgent global need to reduce COā‚‚ emissions, a critical factor in combating climate change and the rising frequency of natural disasters.

By integrating sustainability into disaster preparedness and response, POWERBASE contributes to a broader effort to transform the energy landscape in the humanitarian and civil protection sectors. The seminar provided an excellent opportunity to connect with stakeholders in vocational education and training (VET), build awareness about the project’s mission, and explore avenues for collaboration and future implementation.
