Aims and objective

Preparing future procurement of low-emission, mobile power solutions

POWERBASE will provide the foundational groundwork for future procurement processes ensuring that EROs are equipped with highly innovative low-emission energy solutions for Emergency Shelters (ESs) and Bases of Operation (BoOs) that meet their real operational needs (reliable, self-sufficient, mobile, economical, improved workplace conditions, etc.), in the decades to come.

Steps towards future procurement

The POWERBASE project objectives will be delivered through four work packages. WP1 is Governance, coordination and management. In WP2, needs will be identified and the state of the art will be analysed, whereas WP3 will develop dedicated procedures for the procurement of R&D services for renewable energy supply solutions. WP4 will establish a community that fosters mutual understanding of needs and solutions through continuous engagement, dialogue, and collaboration.
