On 8–9 May 2025, the POWERBASE project team participated in Intersolar Europe, the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry, held annually in Munich, Germany. The event offered a valuable opportunity to explore the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies and engage directly with industry leaders and innovators.
As POWERBASE aims to support the procurement of mobile, reliable, and low-emission energy solutions for emergency response organisations, attending Intersolar was a strategic step in identifying relevant technologies and fostering collaboration with key stakeholders in the energy sector.
In addition to exploring state-of-the-art innovations, the POWERBASE team also met with colleagues from the EU project RESCUE. Both projects address the challenges faced by emergency services in accessing sustainable power. The meeting focused on creating synergies between the two initiatives and joint dissemination and communication activities to maximise visibility and impact across Europe.
Participating in Intersolar Europe 2025 has further strengthened POWERBASE’s engagement with the renewable energy ecosystem and reaffirmed our commitment to enabling climate-friendly and self-sufficient power solutions for critical field operations.
