On 16ā17 September 2025, the POWERBASE project took part in the European Research and Innovation Days in Brussels, Belgium ā the European Commissionās flagship event on research and innovation.
The annual conference brings together thousands of stakeholders from across Europe, including policymakers, researchers, innovators, industry representatives, and citizens. It provides a platform to discuss the future of European research and innovation policy, exchange best practices, and explore how collaborative projects can address societal challenges.
For POWERBASE, participation in this event was an important opportunity to:
-
Present our work on mobile, low-emission energy solutions for emergency shelters and field bases.
-
Engage with experts in civil protection, disaster relief, and sustainable energy technologies.
-
Strengthen connections with other Horizon Europe projects working on resilience, sustainability, and innovation in crisis management.
As the project draws to a close, POWERBASE is grateful to join the European discussion on how to ensure that future emergency operations are powered sustainably, efficiently, and reliably.
